This Internet Privacy Statement describes the measures AKI takes to protect your personal data when it is collected on AKI websites.
Information about the collection of personal data

Collection of personal data when you visit our website

Demographic features on Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time from your Google Account ad preferences or opt-out of Google Analytics collecting your information as described in the “Opt-out of data collection” section.
Use of social media
Use of social media plug-ins
We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, twitter, Google+, Pinterest, You Tube. We use a safe sharing tool. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the mark on the box above its initial letter or the logo. The Safe Sharing Tool establishes direct contact between the networks and you only when you actively click on a button. This tool does not automatically transfer user data to the operators of these platforms. If you are logged in to one of the social networks, an information window will appear when using the buttons of Facebook, Google+1, Twitter & Co. in which you can confirm the text before sending it.
In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection, according to the respective provider in Germany. By clicking on the links, personal data will be transferred from you to the respective social media provider and stored there (for US American providers in the USA). Since the social media provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before clicking on the social media button via the security setting of your browser.
We have no influence on the data collected and data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the social media provider.
The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular for the presentation of demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.
