This Internet Privacy Statement describes the measures AKI takes to protect your personal data when it is collected on AKI websites.

Information about the collection of personal data

In the following we inform about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that are personally identifiable to you, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

The person responsible pursuant to Art. 4 (7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO) (see our imprint) You can contact our data protection officer at or at our postal address with the addition “the Data Protection Officer”.

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, if applicable your name, company, address and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data arising in this context after the storage is no longer necessary, or limit the processing if statutory retention obligations exist.

Collection of personal data when you visit our website

If you use the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. Demographic features on Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time from your Google Account ad preferences or opt-out of Google Analytics collecting your information as described in the “Opt-out of data collection” section.

Use of social media

Use of social media plug-ins

We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, twitter, Google+, Pinterest, You Tube. We use a safe sharing tool. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the mark on the box above its initial letter or the logo. The Safe Sharing Tool establishes direct contact between the networks and you only when you actively click on a button. This tool does not automatically transfer user data to the operators of these platforms. If you are logged in to one of the social networks, an information window will appear when using the buttons of Facebook, Google+1, Twitter & Co. in which you can confirm the text before sending it.

In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection, according to the respective provider in Germany. By clicking on the links, personal data will be transferred from you to the respective social media provider and stored there (for US American providers in the USA). Since the social media provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before clicking on the social media button via the security setting of your browser.

We have no influence on the data collected and data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the social media provider.

The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular for the presentation of demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Integration of YouTube videos

Our website uses plugins from Google’s YouTube site. This website is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.

Our website uses plugins of the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc. 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

If you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. The Vimeo server will be informed which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the Vimeo server in the USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
